- From page one, Freefall is like taking a ride on your favorite roller coaster. The story begins with a woman drowning, and Heitzmann purposefully keeps out details to enhance the mystery of the situation. Readers soon figure out that, because of a blow to the head, the woman has amnesia. From there on, the story evolves into a quest to find the truth behind the past of the woman who comes to be known as Gentry Fox, a Hollywood actress who is a Christian.
-
- The novel addresses tough issues, such as the struggle of being a Christian in the film industry and God's goodness in the midst of trials. Complete with suspense, romance, and mystery, Heitzmann's storytelling is genius. The plot keeps readers turning pages. The story never comes across as preachy or cliché, and the Hawaiian imagery is breathtaking. Freefall is a must-read for adult women.
